Spice Box in Kanazawa

Everyone comes to Kanazawa for the seafood but what they need to come to Kanazawa is for this restaurant. The food was absolutely sensational. Our server was incredibly friendly and spoke English and Japanese. 10/10 reccomend the mango lassi it was amazing! As well as all the food we ordered.

おいしい. Excellent meal, we absolutely loved the Malai Tikka and our other curries were fantastic as well. This restaurant is beyond just a nice break from Kanazawa’s great Japanese food, it holds its own and would do well in any major city.

The food is fantastic! There aren’t many curry restaurants around. When you enter the road, you can already smell the curry half a mile away. They have a wide variety of dishes ranging from rice and curry naans to Sri Lankan noodles as well. Definitely worth a try! Really friendly peeps as well!

Owner is very nice and speaks great English. Had a craving for Curry and it was satisfied. No copper mug for Moscow mule though.

I had a vegetarian set menu which came with 3 different curry varieties, yogurt, a small salad, rice, a samosa and half a nan for ¥1700.The food was very tasty and freshly prepared in front of our eyes. Very good address!

The Malai Tikka chicken was maybe the greatest thing of our trip! Anyway chef is very friendly and the spicy good delicious.

Place is cosy but food quality and quantity not up to the mark and the prices they charge... not satisfied even with the attitude the stuff had... not worth.. never visit again...
